1. Tell us about yourself.

I’m Felicia and I’m a Special effect Make up artist , Blogger as well as a Youtuber.

2. What is your childhood dream? Did you make it happen?

One of my childhood dream was Mt Fuji in Japan and also the Aurora.

Yes, I got to see Mt Fuji in 2013 and Aurora in Norway.

3. Describe how you first get into blogging?

I started out blogging when I read about Xiaxue and started it just as a hobby to write down things happening in my life like a diary. It then continued as I started to get invited to events and meeting up with other bloggers.

4. Besides blogging, what do you do as passion? Do you have other passion to pursue?

I do Makeup which specifically known for my special-effect make up. I had been the head make up artist for Zombie-Run Malaysia for the past years. Apart from blogging, currently I’m also focusing on Youtube which is my current new passion to pursue. Travel to learn is my Youtube theme as I learnt 2 new languages from travelling (Norway and Japan). Plus, I also started a new Blog in chinese called the travel bride where we take pre-wedding photos while travelling in different parts of the world. So far we had taken pictures in Japan, Sri Lanka, Indonesia,Malaysia, Vietnam and Norway.

5. What type of blogger do you want to be( describe which field do you specialise in writing)? Share your thoughts about it.

Considering most of my posts are related to traveling, I’m known as a travel blogger as I travel very often and have seen many of the wonders of this world. It kind of became a speciality as I tend to experience extraordinary challenges while travelling for months in other countries especially Japan. I had been to almost all the 43 out of 47 prefectures in Japan. Thus, these interesting travels inspired me to share with others.

6. What does the word success means to you?

Success to me is to gain new perspective and contented with what’s life has given us. To achieve a sense of appreciation and gratitude for whatever we have. Ultimately, to be one whereby someone would look up to and be inspired.

7. What is your biggest dream now?

My biggest dream is to own a house by the sea in northern Norway where I get to see Aurora in winter and midnight sun in summer.

8. If you are given a million dollars, what would you do with that money?

Purchase properties in beautiful parts of Norway. Set up hostels for travellers and provide a free shower place for those in need.

9. Why not share with us your happiest moment in your life & what encouragement would you give to someone who is at their worst time of their life, someone who is facing depression?

There was a time, I was sick for 3 months. My bf back then took me on a vacation trip to Maldives and despite my sickness (vomiting very often), he took care of me and in the end, proposed to me

on the sea itself! Life is too short to compare ourselves with others, everyone has their own timeline of achievements. You may never see the challenges or difficulties of one’s faces behind the smile of the picture. If depression kicks in, take a fresh air out into the forest or hike to enjoy the beauty of life.  Go enjoy your favourite food, favourite music, and favourite comedy to distract you from the negativity of life. Most of all, talk positive to your best friend, you yourself. As knowing yourself best and placing good, positive thoughts is the main key to overcome depression.

10. What is your proudest achievement or accomplishment you have achieved in life?

To be on the newspapers in both Norway and Malaysia.

11. Can you name some of your favourite bloggers and why? Who would you love to collaborate with?

Fourfeetnine inspired me and she is definitely my favourite blogger still. Her strong personality and humbleness as a famous blogger is so likeable. Plus, we both have something in common, our heights! I would surely love to collaborate with fourfeetnine !

12. What would you say that is the biggest challenge about blogging?

One of the biggest challenges about blogging is honesty. The sponsorship and paid blogs by clients are usually challenged as at times we do get into a grey zone or mind-bogging situation of either we should give honest reviews or not. Thus, playing with words can be challenging and at times, a mistake in description might result is dissatisfaction of clients. Therefore, we would have to proof read many times and reconsider the context on our blog topics .

13. What would you say that is the greatest satisfaction of being blogger?

To be recognized and to get positive comments from readers.

14. If you have a magic ward, what is the one thing you would ask for and why?

Health, as health is wealth.

15. What advice would you give to other aspiring bloggers? any general advice to those have big dreams?

Never give up learning and getting inspired by others. Dream big and just do it even sometimes your worries kicks in. Life waits no man to worry about things.
