1. Tell us about yourself.

I’m short and pretty random. Also, my name is Kah Wei. Oh, and I eat slow, really slow.

2. What is your childhood dream? Did you make it happen?

My childhood dream is to be an architect. Things are looking pretty good considering I’ve got my foundation, degree and masters in Architecture and am now a practicing graduate architect.

3. Describe how you first get into blogging?

I did quite a fair bit of travelling while I was studying in the UK and I loved it a lot. So when my phone was stolen in Rome, along with most of my travel photographs… all I had left was my little journal which I wrote everything and anything in whenever I wanted. I decided that’s my calling to blog about my experiences and memories so I can keep them ‘some place safe’ and share them.

4. Besides blogging, what do you do as passion? Do you have other passion to pursue?

I’m currently practicing Brazillian Jiu-jitsu with GFTeam Malaysia. I’m kind of petite so I needed to up my manliness and seem more intimidating. haha!

5. What type of blogger do you want to be( describe which field do you specialise in writing)? Share your thoughts about it.

The two things I love most – food and travel

I would like to share my genuine opinion on good food / places to visit with people around the world through my page.

I believe in doing the things I love so I can love and be good at what I do. Life is too short for anything else.

6. What does the word success means to you?

I don’t really believe in a point of success. To me success is achieved when life is constantly progressing.

7. What is your biggest dream now?

Travel the world with an open mind, gain new experiences, see and try new things, and taste food I’ve never even heard of.

8. If you are given a million dollars, what would you do with that money?

Quit my job. Travel with the money. Get back to working when I’m poor.

9. If you can only choose one type of food to eat everyday for a month, what would it be? 😀

Pesto pasta with sundried tomatoes and grilled chicken.

10. What is your proudest achievement or accomplishment you have achieved in life?

A gold medal in Brazillian Jiu-jitsu competition considering the fact that I never saw myself as the type who would try martial arts.

11. Can you name some of your favourite bloggers and why? Who would you love to collaborate with?

I don’t really know much about bloggers but I can only think of Matt Stonie now who’s more of a youtuber/competitive eater. He devours thousands of calories like a boss.

12. What would you say that is the biggest challenge about blogging?

Time management. Juggling between my full-time office job, gym, social life and blogging hasn’t been the easiest task. However weird this may sound, I appreciate the challenge and would pick it over a boring and mundane life over and over.

13. What would you say that is the greatest satisfaction of being blogger?

Being able to share and reach out to people with similar interests whom I probably never had the chance to cross paths with before this. I also get to highlight the array of great food Malaysia has to offer.

14. If you have a magic ward, what is the one thing you would ask for and why?

A highly curious mind. So I can be curious of what I’d do with that.

15. What advice would you give to other aspiring bloggers? Any general advice to those have big dreams?

Try and try again. No one has the right to stop you from pursuing or doing what you love, not even yourself. Use every minute of your day to work your way closer to your dreams but never forget the importance of your family and friends. Last of all, even after you’ve achieved your dreams, stay humble and never be a stinge on helping others.
