1. Tell us about yourself.

Hello, my name is Krane, nice to meet you here! I am a multiple international award winning valedictorian, best student who is now working as a software engineer that helps to build machines that partially produces iPhones, Tesla cars and many other semi conductor devices (making chips). Back then I was featured in few reputable media companies such as The Star, BFM breakfast talk and many more.

2. What is your childhood dream? Did you make it happen?

Believe it or not? My childhood dream is to have a buff body. Yes, I did make it happen earlier this year but it took me 9 years of never giving up, determination and ever learning from my mistakes.  Finally, I’ve came to realize that I cannot out-train a bad diet, I managed to bring my weight down to 68kg from 86kg in just 3 months, starting off from Nov 16 – Feb 17.

3. What is your passion? Do you think it is important to chase after your passion?

My passion is to make everyone around me feels good and happy. I am a very cheerful, energetic person and I love to inspire and spread positive energy to other people. It is very important to chase after your passion because passion is what makes a person ticks, gives meaning and purpose to a person’s life.

4. Share your experience for being one of the contestants of Manhunt Malaysia 2017. Given a chance would you participate in any male pageant again and why?

Manhunt Malaysia 2017 is my first ever pageant that I’ve joined. To be honest, I didn’t expect that I would make it to be one of the finalists! I wanted to just step out of my comfort zone and see what I can learn from it. And yes, I was blessed with such given opportunity! It was never a challenge for me because i enjoyed every moment of it. I had a chance to meet people from all sort of lives and it has inspired me to be a better person than I was yesterday. I will definitely participate again and in fact, recently I went audition for Bachelor of Malaysia 2018 and also on hold for a casting call for Mister International Malaysia 2018. Personally, i think pageantry is a perfect platform for me to contribute back to the society by doing good and be able to change the world.

5. What does the word success means to you?

If I am able to put a smile on someone else’ face other than myself, I will then consider myself as successful because success are meant to be shared with others. Of course we need to have life goals and dreams to improve ourselves and achieve something in life but we shouldn’t lose focus on our main purpose in life. To me, i think we just need to have our daily basic needs met and have a grateful heart of contentment to achieve happiness in life.  We shall not be easily driven away by materials which at the end of the day does not bring any meaning/legacy in life.

6. If you are given a million dollars, what would you do with that money?

Build an NGO that will identify and help talents (scholarships/sponsors), be a mentor to them and make this NGO prestigious, ever-growing, continuously building lives of the nation. As a result, this world will raise many scientists, engineers and artists in time to come. Often times, it is sad to see that these talents were left undiscovered due to their circumstances. if not, they could be on their way to create the next BIG THING that will benefit and change the world!

7. How do you keep up with such a great body? Any tips to your readers/fans?

My body is not that great trust me and everyone can achieve this body. The tips lies on your daily food consumption as to whether or not you are having the right amount of calories for your body. Do avoid processed food such as bread, biscuit, soft drinks etc. Instead try to eat 90 – 95% of whole foods every day. If possible, eat as clean as possible by resorting only to boiled and steam food minus the dressing. Add a series of work outs and you will be having the body everyone admires. Tough I know, but trust me, once you mastered the art of eating clean, a lean and fit body will eventually be a dream come true! It is worth it! 🙂

8. What’s your mantra for living?

“Kindness heals the world, being humble is the way of life.”

We need to be kind towards others to stop war, prejudice and hatred which will ease the chaotic state of the world. Also, kind towards the environment to slowly reverse the effect of global warming. Showing kindness can just start of by greeting others with a smile, use ‘please’ and ‘thank you’, or it could be picking up the litter on the street which will eventually make a difference to the world.

Being humble is the way of life because anyone is given the same opportunity as me, they will be as successful or even out perform me.

9. What’s the biggest challenge you’ve encountered in life and did you overcome it?

In my dictionary, there’s no such thing biggest challenge in life as every single challenge you’ve encountered is a new lesson to learn that will shape you to be a better person. Whenever I am encountered with a challenge, I will quickly learn from it and move forth because if we were to spent a moment pondering about the past, we are actually missing out the opportunity in the present and also in time to come.

10. If you are given an opportunity to work /collaborate with a celebrity, who would it be and why?

Keanu Reeves. He is famous yet still preserve his humbleness and kindness to this day. It is definitely rare and inspiring these days. It would be an honour to work with him!

11. Do you have a favourite brand you would love work with and why?

The Body Shop. I love how they are packed with all natural ingredients and with a great brand’s message behind each product. They have many charitable works which i would love to participate in. It will be a dream come true if I can be one of their upcoming ambassadors.

12. What do you do during your free time?

Self-learning. In this era of smartphone and technology, using apps opens you up to the possibility of limitless knowledge. Like recently I am learning Japanese language from Memrise, the top language app from Google Play.

13. If you are given a chance to build a business empire, which industry would you choose?

IOT Technologies, it simplifies, help to improve lives and move people towards the new era of evolutionary technologies.

14. Any funniest thing that you’ve encountered in your life before? Share with us.

Accidentally went in a female’s toilet due to emergency and told a lady that she was in the wrong toilet. Haha!

15. If you have a magic ward, what is the one thing you would ask for and why?

World peace because we are in the age of war due to prejudice and hatred. To make this magic work even better, I must do whatever I can in my might to ensure that when I wave the magical touch, it will be a definite world peace.
