1. Tell us about yourself.

I am the kind of person that can be very lovable at one moment and ridiculously crazy the next moment. I enjoy the simple things in life, like playing in the rain or even enjoying a tasteful meal at the mamak. I am easily amused, so even if your best friend doesn’t laugh at your lame jokes, I just might! And I am completely an animal lover, especially cats! Meow!

2. What is your childhood dream? Did you make it happen?

Since young, I have always dreamt of having my own studio that functions both as home and a workplace. I still haven’t achieved that goal yet but I am getting closer – like if all goes well I would get it by end of 2018…let me just get my PTPTN loan off my shoulders first! Hahaha

3. Describe how you first get into blogging?

I was first introduced to blogging thanks to a close friend of mine, Gwen (she is also my waifu). She thought me how to go about blogging and it triggered something inside of me. I didn’t even know before this that I could write, but seeing how people respond to my written thoughts motivates me to write more.

4. Besides blogging, what do you do as passion? Do you have other passion to pursue?

Besides blogging, I love to dance and model. I have pursued dancing and modelling till a year back, but due to my busy schedule at work, I had cut down a lot on those two passions of mine. For now, I am trying to pursue my interest in photography and D.I.Y crafts, hopefully, I will be able to juggle those two well enough!

5. What type of blogger do you want to be? Share your thoughts about it.

May I be greedy, cause I can’t just choose one specific type of blogger that I am? I would say that I would love to be a blogger that focuses on Lifestyle, Food and Beauty. Since I am both a homie and an outgoing person, my lifestyle includes both outdoor activities and activities which are suitable for the excitement seeker and the home-based people. I love to go for hiking but at the same time I love making art at home, see what I mean. As a food blogger, there’s no other possible way of expressing my love for food besides describing it as detailed in words so that my readers can ‘taste’ the meal too. For the beauty side of me, well, why should I not share my beauty tips and reviews for everyone else to benefit from? There is no reason for me to not be generous with my knowledge.

6. What does the word success means to you?

Success to me it’s pretty simple…as long as I have inspired and motivated someone to be a better person then I am successful. So, it is safe to say that I have been successful ever since I started blogging.

7. What is your biggest dream now?

My biggest dream now is to own a studio and to be a well-recognised blogger and/or an influencer.

8. If you are given a million dollars, what would you do with that money?

Half of it I would give it to my parents while the other half either get myself that dream studio (hahaha) or start up a charity home for stray animals.

9. Why not share with us your happiest moment in your life & what encouragement would you give to someone who is at their worst time of their life, someone who is facing depression?

My happiest moments would be when everytime I have the opportunity to make my parents feel proud of me. To see their proudest smiles when I have successfully achieved a goal makes me very thankful for my presence/existence. Because I would dare to say that, only the both of them have seen every tear and blood that I have put into my hard work, and they have always encouraged me for it.

For those who are facing depression, the best thing that you all can do is to embrace that feeling of defeat and come back up to shine. Even if you have to crawl out, walk, run, jump out of that blackhole, you do it! Because by you living another day just proves that you are much stronger than you think you are.

10. What is your proudest achievement or accomplishment you have achieved in life?

Being recognised as a worthy blogger and a “Miss Congeniality” model. It’s an awesome feeling when people recognise you for being yourself.

11. Can you name some of your favourite bloggers and why? Who would you love to collaborate with?

My favourite bloggers are LoveLumi and LiveLifelah! Because no.1 I love their personalities, they are very friendly and they know their stuff. Like you can always feel their genuine expressions and thoughts about the subject matter. No.2 both of them are my inspiration as one is a pro at lifestyle blogging while the other travels a lot!

I would sincerely love to collaborate with LoveLumi at least just once, if possible. Because I have a feeling it would be an amazing experience to have fun with her.

12. What would you say that is the biggest challenge about blogging?

My biggest challenge about blogging would be squeezing the time to fit in a blogpost. Being a fulltime writer at a media company and having to come back home to continue writing, gets very emotionally and physically draining. BUT! Thankfully, I managed to find the balance and now I am back on track!

13. What would you say that is the greatest satisfaction of being blogger?

The greatest satisfaction of being a blogger is when I receive comments on my posts telling me that I have done a great job at portraying and describing the subject matter incredibly well with my honest opinions.

14. How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?

Nowadays I threaten myself by saying “If you don’t post this up by today, you are going to make your readers lose interest in reading your blog”…Hahaha…Playing mental games with my ownself has become a (bad) habit of mine.

But usually, I would try to come up with an idea that requires me to do some artsy stuff for that blogpost to make it more interesting and boost my enthusiasm.

15. What advice would you give to other aspiring bloggers? those who wants to starts a blogging career? and a general advice to those have big dreams and those who feel hopeless in their life now?

There will be a lot of times where things would not go the way you want them to due to your own personal activities but don’t let that stop you from blogging. For those who are taking up blogging as a career, my only piece of advice would be stay true to your thoughts and put in the effort to engage with your readers in whatever means you can.

For those who are feeling a little lost, don’t worry…in time you would be able to find the purpose of your existence! Just keep asking yourself, “what can I do to be better?” The world is in need of healthy inspirations and I am sure you can be one too!
