Mable- our very next actress to be!

1. Tell us about yourself.

I am quite flexible in terms of personality, be it easy going or strict to my own principle, it simply depends on the situation encountered. Outgoing yet sometimes introvert. I can be super active and passionate being myself in the familiar environment but turn into a socially-awkward one in a strange surroundings. I like eating a lot, that’s one of the reason I have been building up a series of humble review on the food I’d tasted before. People say there are envy as I manage to keep myself right and nice (not skinny). What I can say is I workout a lot all the time, from regular weekly dancing class and little routine held even during working hours, I would always ensure that I look good despite my surprisingly great appetite. Outdoor activities like Viper Challenge, camping, hiking and not to forget, travelling or even food hunt trip is my favourite activities, too.

2. What is your childhood dream? Did you make it happen?

My childhood dream is to be a superstar on stage ( Grinned ). I know life sometimes may toy us around which oppose with our desire but hey, I manage to grab an opportunity to be an actress for a stage theatre during my campus life in tertiary studies. Better yet, I’d even won the best actress for role playing a 45-year-old single mum of two. This is certainly one of my proudest achievement in my life, so far.

3. Describe how you first get into blogging?

I joined into blogging since I was 15. I call myself an unlicensed scribbling artist because I always tend to scribble a lot on whenever I can make it! Give me a pencil and a paper, there I go my scribbling arts, hahaha! Furthermore, it’s also peer mutual interest (certainly not peer pressure) so my friends and I treat our own blogs as an online diary to keep each other updated about our thoughts of the day! And it was fun because I had the sense of achievement where my post was posted online and able to view globally (laugh).

4. Besides blogging, what do you do as passion? Do you have other passion to pursue?

Yes definitely! Arts performing, I would say. I am a singer, a bathroom singer. I don’t lie but I usually wouldn’t miss out the chances to sing when I’m taking shower, I do the same thing at every corner of my house whenever I feel like singing, so my family members are already immune with it. I may not have a great voice but I really enjoy singing everytime. Besides, I enjoy myself teaching or delivering knowledge to people. This simply explains about some of my previous part time job was being a replacement teacher in elementary schools, teaching in a class that up to 45 pupils. However, talking about pursuing, I would go for entering entertainment industry, it’s all because I love acting (as evident from my stage performing experience). I hope I would showcase my face to people via camera lens one day.

5. What type of blogger do you want to be( describe which field do you specialise in writing)? Share your thoughts about it.

Food blogger ( I provide humble yet straight forward review for the food I’d tasted, log on to my blog www.mablemaeve.blogspot.com to read it, no exception for sponsored food review too. Moreover, I do share my own recipe for some easy made finger food on my blog, in my opinion, it’s far important to be able to prepare and understand bits of cooking beside providing food comment)
Fashion blogger ( This is my next plan to be revealed on my blog and I’m quite confident to showcase it, I always love to dress myself nicely)

Travel blogger ( I make this for my own memories initially and I find it that it can be a good source of reference for people out there, so that’s one of my motivation to record about the itinerary)

Video blogger (aka Vlogger)

I have no big issue to speak in front of camera, so I have a couple of videos that including travel itinerary or personal sharing on Youtube too!

6. What does the word success means to you?

Success is  all about one’s perseverance to against all odd. It’s not really about wealth but at least one must be healthy because it’s one of the success in everyone’s life too. Not to forget, success simple means one is able to do something he/she likes and gain a favourable return as a motivation to keep moving forward.

7. What is your biggest dream now?

To be frank, it’s is to be an actress in entertainment industry. I would love to try on local entertainment industry as I see there’s a competitive development occurring within.

8. If you are given a million dollars, what would you do with that money?

Treat my family members, the decision are on them. Another portion is for self-enhancement, attending Japanese language class and performing class. Next, charity. I don’t go for monetary contribution but I would make sure those unfortunate would get the physical items they are really in need. Last one, property investment.

9. If you need to choose just one cosmetic product you can’t live without, what item would that be?

Lipgloss. As I don’t fancy much about makeup, so I think a simple tinted colour on lips pretty help much for me to look sweet and confident in front of public.

10. What is your proudest achievement or accomplishment you have achieved in life?

Won the best actress of stage theatre for a charity night during university life.

11. Can you name some of your favourite bloggers and why? Who would you love to collaborate with?

-Shinilola. As her blog readers, I could feel her hardwork and sincerity in making every post she publish.
-Bobostephanie. She is my fashion icon, I really love how she dress perfectly and sometimes I’d scroll her IG for some styling tips, too.

-Venice Min. A famous model and young entrepreneur who I am her silent reader of her blog since high school time, she goes for occasianal blog post.

12. What would you say that is the biggest challenge about blogging?

Schedule arrangement. It is compulsory to have a good planning in balancing the time allocated for discovering new blog post, drafting, editing photos and content.

13. What would you say that is the greatest satisfaction of being blogger?

Friends around show their appreciation as my blog provide a reference for them, especially in food review and travel itinerary sharing. What makes me unforgettable is one of my friend actually shed tears after reading about my journey towards healthy skin as I was once in an acne nightmare, she claimed that she was touched over my perseverance even though I was in a great down time. 14. How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?

For the sake of recording memories for future reviewing, updating to my friends about my current life and also a source of reference for internet users.

15)What advice would you give to other aspiring bloggers? those who wants to starts a blogging career? And a general advice to those have big dreams?

To be an aspiring blogger must first, understand on their own target, what kind of blogger they are interest to showcase to public. With that, they can only pursue toward an enjoying and successful blogging journey. It takes time to being recognized by people as the competition of blogging industry is too much keen that it’s actually gradually fading, sad to say so. (People tend to go for vlogs more now) so one must consider twice before taking blogging as a full time job. Last but not least, dare to dream and dare to achieve. Just like me, find the opportunity to have your dreams come true with over than thousands times of trying and failure.
