Neeza- we welcome our blogger from Muar,Johor!
1. Tell us about yourself.
Hi, I am Neeza. I am 22 years old. Originally from Muar, Johor but I am currently pursuing my studies in Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Shah Alam.
2. What is your childhood dream? Did you make it happen?
I am always having different kind of dreams when I was young. At first I thought I want to be a teacher but I did not get the opportunity to enter IPG. Then I changed my goal, I want to be a lawyer.
I got the chance twice because at first when I received the UPU, I got Foundation of Law (UiTM) in Pahang but I did not accept the offer. Yet, I received the opportunity to enter Matriculation which came first. However, I found out that I did not have interest and passion in Science then I apply again and again until I got the opportunity to pursue my study in Foundation of Law (UiTM) in Kedah.
Unfortunately, when I studied in depth, I found out my limitation and law so I decided not pursuing it although I am nearly to. I know maybe I will get something better than this with my hidden talents. And yes I found it!
I love writing and blogging which many people thought me that I am a Communication and Media (Mass Comm) student but I am not. Now I am studying in Applied Language studies English for Professional Communication and I am planning to apply as a writer during intern and after graduation. Hope I can make it happen one day. Pray for me ya. ☺
3. Describe how you first get into blogging?
Seriously it is not an easy journey when I started blogging. Through many ups and downs. Actually, it was on 2010 which I finished my PMR and my teacher held a competition to create creative school’s blog. Then I started to create my own blog when I was in Form 4 on 2011. I was really active in blogging when I was in Form 4 and Form 5. However, I stop for a while when I entered Matriculation and Law Foundation (UiTM). Then I am doing my comeback again into blogging and getting more serious with this interest when I was in Semester 2 last year.
4. Besides blogging, what do you do as passion? Do you have other passion to pursue?
Yes, I have passion in cooking and fitness. I really love to try new food and recipes when I have a free time. At the same time I love fitness too! Haha. Actually I involve in fitness when I want to lose weight. I think it all started when I entered my degree and my weight was about nearly 100 kg. Now, I am already lost about 20 kg and trying my best to get my ideal body. After that, I think I will take a certified certificate to be a trainer because of my experience in losing weight, it is hardly to find female personal trainer around me and the same time, I want to help other women to look beautiful and gorgeous too!
5. What type of blogger do you want to be( describe which field do you specialise in writing)? Share your thoughts about it.
I choose to be a lifestyle blogger which my niche is generally focused on food, beauty, fitness. travel, fashion and event. Actually I am started doing my comeback in blogging when I received invitation for food review during Ramadhan last year and people love my food posting. Then, my readers love to read about my weight loss journey. I am also addicted to travel and staying in hotels. Recently, I found my new interest into beauty and fashion because I love makeup and look beautiful too (feel more confident after losing weight).
6. What does the word success means to you?
Actually I never dreamt about success. I worked for it. Just be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help and brave enough to ask for it.
7. What is your biggest dream now?
All of my dreams become true. Hehe.
8. If you are given a million dollars, what would you do with that money?
Triple the money by investing into property, set up my own business and enjoys the reward afterwards such as buying myself a lot of stuff (clothes, makeup, food, and etc), do charity, travel with my family and get married (still single). Hehe.
9. If you can only choose one type of food to eat every day for a month, what would it be? 😀
Salted egg buttermilk chicken for life, haha.
10. What is your proudest achievement or accomplishment you have achieved in life?
I think the biggest accomplishment I have achieved so far in my life which I can lose my weight for 20 kg. Serious talk, it is a tough journey. I really struggle between desire and goals. I love food but I want to be fit and look beautiful. Now I am feeling great with what all I have as I receive more and more in blogging after I am losing my weight.
11. Can you name some of your favourite bloggers and why? Who would you love to collaborate with?
Actually, I met a lot of blogger friends and they are all my favourite ones. I think I love to collaborate and learn with senior bloggers which master in blogging. I want to know the knowledge itself in depth how they archive the highest page view, top rank google and etc.
12. What would you say that is the biggest challenge about blogging?
The biggest challenge about blogging when I face a blank phase which I do not have any mood to update any entry in my blog. I do not have any idea at all how to start and really hard to finish it. I admit I am getting through this recently, I think about 3-4 weeks ago which I had fever (suspect from dengue) for 2 weeks.
13. What would you say that is the greatest satisfaction of being blogger?
The greatest satisfaction of being blogger when I got the opportunity to be featured in Berita Harian newspaper last year and I look for the opportunity to be featured in magazine and TV. At least once! Hahaha. At the same time, truly satisfaction for me when people start to recognize my hidden talent in writing, start to follow my stories in my blog and the posting (entry) get high viewers which get into top rank google. I am really glad for that. Thank you my readers!
14. If you have a magic ward, what is the one thing you would ask for and why?
All my wishes become true because it seems one thing but I can request more and more. Hahaha.
15. What advice would you give to other aspiring bloggers? Any general advice to those have big dreams?
Happiness doesn’t come from success. Success comes from happiness. If you love what you are doing, you will successful. Continue to write, write and write. Be yourself and your content is pure. Never give up if you think nobody read your posting and you have less followers and readers. Learn from other successful bloggers and you will find the ways.
