    1. Tell us about yourself.

My name’s Vanessa and I’m a 19 y/o creative. I create content on different social media platforms, mostly instagram and youtube.  However, I wouldn’t consider myself nearly as successful as I want to be.

    2. What is your childhood dream? Did you make it happen?

My childhood dream was to visit Disney all around the globe, and I guess I’m partially there hahaha!

    3. Describe how you first get into being a social media influencer/blogger? Is being a social media influencer/ blogger your full time job?

I got into social media not knowing it was a platform to earn/gain an audience. Eventually I made new connections through these social medias and that’s what got me into being a little more active. No, it is not my full time job although I occasionally do earn from it. I’m still a student in university so I’m still experimenting and hoping to expand my field.

    4. What do you do as passion?

I have a strong passion in art, of all forms, especially architecture. I’m majoring in that currently and making it a goal to travel across the globe to expand my knowledge on the cultures and styles of these buildings.

    5. What type of influencer/blogger you would describe yourself as?Any tips for being a successful influencer?

A mixture of fashion, beauty and lifestyle. My number one tip to anyone who wants to go into this direction is to “live to blog, not blog to live”. What I mean by that is, do things you want to do instead of following a trend just to gain an audience. The world is huge and you will eventually gain an audience who loves and have the same passion as you do.

    6. What does the word success means to you?

Being content with where you are in life, and willing to reach for better.

    7. What is your mantra for living?

“The universe wants it that way” ; because everything happens for a reason, and what you allow yourself to learn from each rise and each fall defines who you are as a person.

    8. If you are given a million dollars, what would you do with that money?

I’d love to start my own foundation to help in children’s education, as I think it’s crucial in our generation to have a good education, and there are so many young unfortunate children across the world who doesn’t have this opportunity.

    9. What’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought in your life? and why?

    Experiences, travels.

    10. What is your proudest achievement or accomplishment you have achieved in life?

Being where I am now makes me really happy. The friends I’ve come to know, and the relationship between my family and I definitely comes above everything else I have.

    11. Can you name some of your favourite bloggers/ influencers and why? Who would you love to collaborate with?

Internationally, I really love Maya Nilsen and Julia Dang from The Line Up. They are curators of fashion, beauty and lifestyle from Stockholm, and I love how diverse their sense of style is. There’s so many people I’d love to work with, its impossible to name just a few.

    12. What would you say that is the biggest challenge about being a influencer?

The lack of acknowledgement. People love looking down at what influencers do, but its important to push away the negativity and focus on yourself and your job.

    13. If you are given a chance to invent something, what would it be?

    Time machine. Goodbye, yall.

    14. If you have a magic ward, what is the one thing you would ask for and why?

For a better world, without the endless tragedies and wars striking the more unfortunate countries like Syria right now.

    15. What advice would you give to other aspiring influencers? any general advice to those have big dreams?

Having big dreams and a goal to look forward to is a great thing, and you must always hold onto it no matter how difficult it is to achieve. Also, if you’re an aspiring online creator, don’t get so caught up on these online platforms that you push aside your real relationships with the people closest to you.
